Avatar February 2012 + cover Vogue Australia 2012

Nouvelle illustration / avatar ce mois-ci !!! (yes 2ème mois que j'arrive à m'y tenir !!!)
Cette fois ci, je suis partie de la photo du magazine Vogue Australia du mois de mars. Karlie Kloss y est magnifique dans sa robe Alexander McQueen.

Comme j'étais particulièrement inspirée par l'univers d'Alexander McQueen, c'était l'occasion également de rendre un  modeste hommage  à  ce grand couturier dont j'admire les collections saison après saisons.

Pour la colorisation, que j'ai adapté un peu librement  par rapport à la couverture - bien qu'au départ je voulais rester fidèle à la couverture  ;) -, je me suis inspirée de la campagne publicitaire du couturier aussi onirique que magique...

Bref j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à réaliser cette illustration, j'espère qu'elle vous plaira :)

New illustration / avatar this month ! (yes ! I stick to it for the second month !)
This time, I drew from the photo of Vogue Australia March cover. Karlie Kloss is just magnificent in her Alexander McQueen dress.
As I was particularly inspired by the world of Alexander McQueen, it was also an opportunity to make a modest tribute to this great designer I admire the collections season after season.
For the color, I adapted a bit free from the cover- though initially I wanted to stay true to the cover ;) - I inspired by the designer's advertising campaign also onirical and magical ...
In short I took a lot of fun doing this illustration, I hope you enjoy it :)
